Prices

Prices are in US$ dollars and can be invoiced in Pounds Sterling or Euro. Where this occurs, the exchange rate used will be the spot rate provided by Barclays Bank, at 1200 on the date of invoicing. The price quoted is based on the departure date.

Holidays: tailor made and packaged

The accommodation is either all inclusive (AI), full board (FB), half board (HB), bed and breakfast (BB, or room only (RO), all transfers including internal flights, all taxes with the exception of a US $5 departure tax from Zanzibar, guided tours, safaris listed in the itineraries and entry fees to the National Parks are included in the price quoted. Lunch is also included, when listed on the itinerary.

Please note: Flights to and from Tanzania are not included.

Booking enquiries

Booking enquires can be made by emailing the Discover Zanzibar Tours & Safaris team at info@discoverzanzibartours.com or telephoning us on + (00) 255 (0)24 2232022. We will be happy to answer any questions that you may have about the services that we provide as well as providing general tourist information about Zanzibar and Tanzania.

Booking

If you would like to make a booking, either call us on + (00) 255 (0)24 2232022 or submit the BOOKING FORM. We require a deposit of US of $500/£250 or 20% (whichever is the greater) of the total booking cost within 3 working days once we have confirmed your reservation. It normally takes less than 48 hours to confirm flights, accommodation and excursions.

Payment can be made by credit card or debit card by telephoning the Discover Zanzibar Tours & Safaris office on + (00) (0)24 2232022. We can also send you a booking form to complete and return to us at P.O. BOX 3383, Zanzibar, Tanzanzia, accompanied by a cheque to cover the deposit (US$ or £ Sterling payable to Discover Zanzibar Limited). We will then send you a confirmation invoice.

Full payment for your holiday is required eight weeks before the departure date. Confirmation of your flights and your holiday itinerary will be issued at this stage. Tickets will be issued approximately 2-3 weeks prior to your departure.

Cancellations

If you decide to cancel your holiday, written notification of a cancellation must be sent to Discover Zanzibar Tours & Safaris at P.O. BOX 3383, Zanzibar, Tanzania or emailed to info@discoverzanzibartours.com . The following scale of charges will apply:

56 days + Deposit only
55-43 days 30% of total holiday price
42-29 days 50% of total holiday price
28-15 days 75% of total holiday price
14-7 days 90% of total holiday price
Less than 7 days 100% of total holiday price

Travel insurance

Clients must obtain valid travel insurance that covers your entire holiday. Discover Zanzibar Tours & Safaris will require a copy of your travel documents at least 8 weeks prior to the departure date or at the time of booking, whichever is earlier.
